Perform professional duties as a Cardiologist in accordance with the delineation of privileges established by the credential committee.

Provide outpatient cardiology services, evaluating patients with cardiovascular conditions in the clinic.

Offer consultation services to inpatients, providing expertise in cardiology as required.

Oversee the operation of the cardiac catheterization laboratory, including ongoing training for technicians.

Supervise the operations of both Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiac Diagnostic Laboratories, including ECG, TEE, Stress Tests, 2D Echo, Cardiac Catheterization, Coronary Angiography, Coronary Angioplasty.

Provide on-call emergency coverage for cardiology emergencies, including performing primary angioplasty/stenting, emergency pericardiocentesis, balloon valvotomies, and IABP insertion.

Provide comprehensive care to inpatients under cardiology care.

Contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement by developing and promoting appropriate standards of care in cardiology.

Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the confidentiality of administrative matters of a sensitive nature.

Demonstrate dependability and commitment in fulfilling job responsibilities.

Foster effective communication by actively listening and promoting clear dialogue within the team.

Develop a thorough understanding of hospital policies and procedures, demonstrating respect and adherence to them.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of the Department.

Comply with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies, infection control standards, and cooperate with hospital management to meet these requirements.

Follow documented OSH procedures and instructions, adhering to specific responsibilities related to safety and health.

Familiarize oneself with emergency and evacuation procedures and actively participate in emergency drills.

Report OSH hazards, incidents, near misses, and assist with preparing risk assessments and incident reports.

Comply with hospital waste management policies and procedures.

Participate in OSH/infection control training programs, mock drills, and awareness programs.
-
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety systems and protocols.
