Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical business development, aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends, assess competitive landscapes, and uncover new opportunities for clinical products or services.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the clinical healthcare sector.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the clinical industry, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients for clinical products or services.
  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical companies, and other stakeholders to promote clinical offerings.
  • Lead promotional efforts for clinical products or services, including presentations, demonstrations, marketing campaigns, and participation in industry events.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and ethical guidelines in all clinical business development activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, regulatory affairs, and operations to ensure alignment and effective delivery of clinical offerings.
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations to communicate the value proposition of clinical products or services to potential clients and partners.
  • Lead a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of business development initiatives, analyze results, and make data-driven decisions to optimize strategies and outcomes.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer feedback, and market dynamics to identify areas for improvement and innovation in clinical offerings.
  • Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand professional connections, stay updated on industry developments, and enhance expertise in clinical business development.

Job Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, healthcare administration, life sciences, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or MBA may be preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hospital experience, preferably in a business development or related role.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in identifying and pursuing business opportunities within the healthcare industry, with a focus on clinical products or services.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Clinical Business Development (CBD) strategies and practices.
