Job Description

  • Conduct thorough assessments of the patient's health status, including physical, psychological, and social factors, to develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide education on medication management.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, recognizing changes and responding promptly to emergencies or deterioration.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans based on patient needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, self-care techniques, and preventive measures to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Assess and manage wounds, including dressing changes, wound irrigation, and monitoring healing progress, while adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to infection prevention and control practices, including hand hygiene, isolation precautions, and environmental cleaning, to minimize the spread of infections.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, address complex needs, and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
  • Advocate for patients' rights, preferences, and best interests, ensuring they receive high-quality, compassionate care by ethical principles and professional standards.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, perform CPR, administer emergency medications, and provide life-saving interventions as needed to stabilize patients' conditions.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and respect.
  • Implement measures to ensure patient safety, such as fall prevention strategies, proper use of restraints, and adherence to patient identification protocols.
  • Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills, stay current on evidence-based practices, and maintain licensure and certifications.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, such as audits, performance improvement projects, and clinical research, to enhance the quality and safety of patient care delivery.

Job Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Nursing.
  • Must be available in the UAE
  • Candidates with DOH license are preferred.
