Define predicted outcomes and expectations for each patient’s care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans in partnership with the interprofessional team, the patient, and family members or caregivers.

Accurately record vital signs, recognize clinical abnormalities, and escalate concerns according to established protocols.

Continuously maintain and update technical and clinical nursing competencies.

Promote patient health and maintain a safe environment through evidence-based nursing practices.

Interpret and understand results of diagnostic tests and laboratory investigations.

Perform life support procedures as required by scope of practice and regulatory standards (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP).

Prepare patients for examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for side effects, allergic reactions, or therapeutic response.

Manage treatments including intravenous fluids, blood products, and monitor for complications.

Deliver wound care and ensure proper infection control practices.

Assist in both invasive and non-invasive medical procedures when necessary.

Ensure smooth processes for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring continuity of care.
