Job Description

• Assess, manage, and provide high-quality nursing care to patients throughout the maternity care process

• Support and care for women before, during, and after childbirth, ensuring physical and emotional needs are met

• Provide immediate and ongoing care for newborns, including monitoring vital signs and supporting early bonding

• Assist new mothers with physical recovery and emotional well-being during the postpartum period

• Educate mothers on infant care, breastfeeding, hygiene, and postnatal health

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

• Participate actively in labor and delivery processes, including conducting deliveries when required

• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond appropriately to changes or emergencies

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation meets hospital and regulatory standards

• Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality of care
