Job Description

  • Diagnose and treat neurological disorders in infants, children, and adolescents, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, developmental delays, and brain injuries

  • Conduct thorough neurological examinations, including reviewing patient history, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (EEG, MRI, CT, etc.)

  • Develop individualized treatment plans involving medication, therapy, and surgical referrals if needed

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatricians, neurosurgeons, therapists, and psychologists

  • Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and long-term care plans

  • Provide emergency and inpatient neurological consultations when required

  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and comply with regulatory and hospital standards

  • Participate in research, teaching, or training programs related to pediatric neurology

  • Stay current with advances in pediatric neurology and integrate best practices into patient care

Job Skills

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution

  • Completed residency in Pediatrics

  • Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology from a recognized program

  • Valid medical license in the relevant jurisdiction

  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Neurology

  • Minimum 2–5 years of pediatric neurology experience (as required by role)

  • Current BLS/ACLS or PALS certification
