Job Description

  • Examine and diagnose illnesses, injuries, and developmental issues in infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Provide appropriate treatments, prescriptions, and follow-up care plans.
  • Monitor child development and administer vaccinations and routine check-ups.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on nutrition, hygiene, growth milestones, and disease prevention.
  • Refer patients to specialists when advanced care is required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients.
  • Respond to emergency situations and acute pediatric cases promptly.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff to deliver high-quality pediatric care.
  • Ensure all practices are compliant with UAE medical standards and ethical guidelines.
     

Job Skills

  • MBBS with specialization in Pediatrics (MD or equivalent postgraduate qualification).
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a Paediatrician.
  • Must hold a valid MOH license or have completed MOH evaluation and be eligible for licensing in the UAE.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills in pediatric care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and parents.
