Job Description

• Provide quality dental care for all Center patients in all phases of general family dentistry, emphasizing prevention according to the scope of practice authorized by the CosmeSurge management
• Responsible for examining patients, diagnosing dental diseases and providing scientifically proven treatment in terms of medicinal and surgical intervention
• Perform treatment of oral structures, including scaling & polishing, restorations, extractions, etc.
• To be aware of patients’ treatment needs and suggest suitable procedures according to the condition
• Provide relief of pain and palliative treatment for emergency dental patients
• Supervise and check prophylactic treatments administered by Dental Assistants / Hygienists
• Supervise the Dental Assistant to ensure that operatory rooms are adequately stocked with instruments and supplies
• Review the patient’s medical history-making sure significant findings are considered and addressed prior to patient treatment
• Explain to the patient / parent the diagnosis, and recommended treatment plan and answer questions as they relate to patient care
• Collaborate with other professionals in the clinic for consultation and/or referral.
• Prescribe and administer drugs or medicines to patients as needed
• Contribute to the development of documentation standards for quality improvement, consistent with professional and CosmeSurge standards
• Contribute to the performance of review activities for the quality improvement program
