Job Description
Patient Care:
Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of pediatric dermatological conditions, including but not limited to eczema, psoriasis, acne, atopic dermatitis, and rare skin diseases.
Consultation and Diagnosis:
Offer consultations for pediatric patients with complex or rare dermatological conditions. Conduct thorough examinations, order relevant diagnostic tests, and formulate effective treatment plans.
Treatment and Follow-up:
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients, which may include medication management, topical therapies, and education for both patients and families. Provide follow-up care and monitor treatment progress.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Work in collaboration with pediatricians, allergists, immunologists, and other specialists to provide holistic care for patients with dermatological conditions.
Patient and Family Education:
Educate patients and their families on managing skin conditions, including preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and skin health maintenance.
Surgical Procedures:
Perform minor dermatologic surgical procedures as needed, such as biopsies, excisions, and laser treatments, in accordance with clinical protocols.
Research and Development:
Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in pediatric dermatology. Participate in ongoing medical research, contributing to studies and clinical trials when applicable.
Training and Mentorship:
Provide education and guidance to junior medical staff, including dermatology residents, medical students, and nursing teams. Participate in training programs and contribute to the continuous education of the clinical team.
