Monitor and observe patients' physical and mental health status, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the nurse in charge or physician.

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and feeding, with sensitivity to both physical and emotional needs.

Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients experiencing psychological distress, confusion, or behavioral issues.

Contribute to maintaining a therapeutic environment that ensures patient dignity, safety, and privacy at all times.

Support the implementation of care plans and behavior management strategies as directed by mental health professionals and nursing supervisors.

Administer prescribed medications (if licensed and delegated) and assist in monitoring for side effects or reactions, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Assist in basic wound care, IV therapy, vital signs monitoring, and other clinical procedures according to scope of practice.

Ensure the safe handling and administration of medications and maintain accurate records in accordance with hospital policies.

Participate in the admission, orientation, and discharge processes of patients, ensuring all procedures and documentation are followed.

Engage patients in therapeutic and recreational activities designed to improve their mental and emotional well-being.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, reporting observations and care provided in a timely manner.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, demonstrating empathy, respect, and professionalism.

Follow all hospital protocols related to infection control, safety, confidentiality, and mental health regulations.

Participate in training, continuing education, and team meetings to maintain clinical knowledge and improve care standards.

Support emergency response situations under guidance and direction of registered nurses and clinical leads.

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
