Job Description

Develop, implement, and maintain data privacy and regulatory compliance programs across clinical operations.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data protection laws, and organizational policies.
Monitor adherence to patient data privacy requirements and information security standards.
Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and internal investigations.
Collaborate with clinical, legal, IT, and operational teams to address regulatory requirements.
Lead the development and review of privacy policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks.
Manage regulatory reporting and coordinate responses to audits and inspections.
Deliver compliance and data privacy training to clinical and administrative staff.
Investigate privacy incidents, recommend corrective actions, and oversee remediation plans.

Job Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Information Technology, Computer Science, Commerce, Risk Management, Information Security, or a related field.
Professional certification in Data Privacy or Information Governance from recognised institutions such as IAPP (CIPP/E, CIPM), ISACA, ISO, or equivalent.
At least 5 years’ experience in Privacy and Data Protection within Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Risk Management, or Data Governance functions, with demonstrated experience in implementing and managing privacy compliance frameworks and data protection programmes.
At least 2 years’ experience in data protection and regulatory compliance within a complex corporate environment, including engagement with executive and senior stakeholders. Experience within the healthcare sector and/or GCC regulatory environment is highly advantageous.
Certification in compliance, information security, or risk management is also advantageous
