Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

• Perform complete pulmonary function testing

• Conduct skin prick allergy testing under the direct supervision of the pulmonologist.

• Administer respiratory therapy for inpatient (IP) cases

• Operate, calibrate, and   maintain all respiratory therapy and diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all tests.
• Identify and report critical values or abnormal test results immediately to the responsible physician .
• Submit timely and complete reports to the medical records department.
• Adhere strictly to infection control and clinical safety standards during all procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of respiratory therapy practices, protocols, and advancements in diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
• Participate actively in quality assurance committee meetings, provider meetings, and general staff meetings.
