Job Description

  • Quickly and accurately assess patient care needs, ensuring timely response to all situations.

  • Collaborate with doctors and staff to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated treatment plans.

  • Perform requested diagnostic tests accurately and efficiently.

  • Diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans in collaboration with doctors and medical staff.

  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, consistently prioritizing patient needs.

  • Comply with all legal, ethical, and safety requirements, maintaining high standards of care.

  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized work environment to ensure patient and staff safety.

  • Work efficiently without compromising the quality of care provided to patients.

  • Abide by all hospital policies, rules, and regulations to ensure a safe and effective healthcare environment.

  • Act in a composed, professional manner, particularly in high-pressure situations.

  • Resolve patient care issues through multidisciplinary team strategies, ensuring comprehensive solutions.

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following established procedures and seeking assistance from support personnel when needed.

  • Adhere to infection control policies, medication administration protocols, and controlled substance regulations to protect patients and staff.

  • Document patient care services in patient and department records, ensuring accurate and timely charting.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality, ensuring all sensitive information remains secure.

  • Ensure proper functioning of equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and maintaining inventories.

  • Monitor and manage nursing supplies, anticipating needs, placing orders, verifying receipt, and ensuring the availability of necessary items.

  • Foster a cooperative relationship with healthcare teams through effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.

  • Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as necessary.

  • Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses, promptly reporting any incidents or issues.

  • Perform IV cannulation insertion competently (for in-patient nurses).

  • Provide post-anesthesia care, monitoring and managing patients recovering from general anesthesia in the operation theatre and inpatient settings.

Job Skills

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited university.
  • Registered Nurse,  (DOH) Licensed.
  • Registered Nurse, valid license in the country of origin
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and any other unit specific training relevant to the area of specialty
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience post-graduation
