Job Description

  • Assessed, prioritized, and provided nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening emergencies.
  • Performed rapid patient triage and initiated appropriate emergency interventions based on clinical priorities.

  • Administered medications, intravenous (IV) fluids, blood products, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

  • Monitored patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and overall clinical condition, promptly reporting changes.

  • Assisted physicians during emergency procedures, trauma resuscitations, and life-saving interventions.

  • Operated and monitored emergency medical equipment, including cardiac monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and ventilators.

  • Collected and documented patient assessments, medical histories, treatments, and responses accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).

  • Coordinated patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure timely diagnosis, treatment, and disposition.

  • Educated patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.

  • Maintained infection prevention and control standards while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

  • Responded effectively to medical emergencies, including cardiac arrest, stroke, trauma, respiratory distress, and other critical conditions.

  • Supervised and supported junior nursing staff and participated in quality improvement and continuing education initiatives.

Job Skills

  • Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority with all the qualifications and experience these mandates.

  • Manage their own professional re-licensure.

  • Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.

  • Be willing to work across departments when necessary.  

  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written)

  • Evidenced ability to work as part of an inter-professionalteam.

  • Organizational and administrative skills with which to use the electronic medical record platform for clinical documentation.

  • Be able to communicate effectively in Arabic
