Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Description

• Receive, label, and analyse samples for diagnosing diseases and providing accurate results that directly impact patient care.
• Design and perform laboratory tests according to standard procedures, and observe and interpret results.
• Conduct experiments under defined conditions.
• Organize and store all chemicals, liquids and compressed gases according to safety guidelines
• Record all data and results in prescribed formats (paper and electronic) accurately and responsibly.
• Maintain equipment and assist with ordering laboratory supplies.
• Ensure that all safety instructions are strictly followed at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment in the laboratory.
