Homecare Caregiver (Tagalog Speaking)

Job Description

• Administer or assist with medications and dietary needs as prescribed.
• Proficient in handling suction, NGT (nasogastric tube) tasks, and similar duties.
• Prepare meals based on dietary requirements and assist with feeding if needed.
• Responsible for helping patients maintain their health and hygiene in their places of residence
• Maintain cleanliness and comfort of the patient, including bathing, feeding and dressing
• Knowledge of how to take care of chronically ventilated patients
• Evaluate patient’s well-being, reporting to families and concerned doctor
• Move patients from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys
• Aid in mobility, transfers, and exercises as recommended by healthcare professionals.
• Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and participate in activities to maintain mental alertness.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming.
• Accompany the patient to appointments, errands, or social outings.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behavior.
