Educational Psychologist

Job Description

• Oversee and supervise the Able-Me Early Intervention and Learning Day program.
• Conduct psychological assessments of children (both Able-Me and outreach students) to evaluate learning, emotional, and behavioural needs.
• Provide counselling and intervention services to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, SaLT, OT, and other professionals to develop individualized support plans.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance students’ learning and well-being.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide recommendations for effective classroom management.
• Support identification and intervention for students with special educational needs.
• Provide training and guidance to teachers and staff on psychological strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with external agencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of assessments and interventions.
• Stay updated with research and best practices in educational psychology.
• Support Sensation Station in promoting positive mental health and well-being initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
