Consultant - Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Job Description

• Perform professional medical and surgical duties related to obstetrics and gynecology, including both elective and emergency procedures in the operating room and outpatient department.

• Provide full coverage of the Delivery Room, including patient admission, history taking, clinical assessment, labor management, and both spontaneous and operative deliveries, while coordinating closely with midwives.

• Respond promptly to consultation calls in the Emergency Department and provide necessary obstetric or gynecological care.

• Conduct and interpret ultrasound examinations for both inpatients and outpatients.

• Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring and take timely, appropriate action to ensure patient safety.

• Provide outpatient consultations in assigned clinics, as directed by the Head of Department.

• Perform both formal and informal consultations requested by physicians from other departments.
