Assistant Nurse-OPD

Job Description

• Assist doctors and registered nurses during patient consultations and examinations.
• Receive and prepare patients for consultation, including checking vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
• Take and record patient medical history and relevant observations.
• Prepare examination rooms, equipment, and medical supplies before consultations.
• Assist with basic nursing procedures and treatments as directed by the doctor or registered nurse.
• Administer medications or injections only when authorized and according to facility policy.
• Perform wound dressing, specimen collection, and other assigned clinical procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Assist with patient registration, appointment flow, and directing patients to appropriate services when required.
• Educate patients on basic medication instructions, follow-up appointments, and general health advice as instructed by the healthcare team.
