Assistant Dental Nurse (Currently in the UAE)

Job Description

• Assisting patients during dental procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about what to expect.
• Supporting the dentist during examinations and treatments by providing instruments and materials as needed.
• Ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained according to health standards.
• Taking dental X-rays as directed by the dentist and ensuring proper exposure and safety protocols are followed.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, and updating files as necessary.
• Coordinating patient appointments, managing the calendar for the dental office, and handling reminders.
• Assisting with billing, insurance claims, and other administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations.
• Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and postoperative care to promote better dental health.
• Keeping track of dental supplies and equipment, reordering as necessary to ensure the office is well-stocked.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
